Seattle Girls School
Ms. Walker was engaged by the Board of Directors to help them determine the strategic direction of the school. As part of effort, she performed an up-front assessment of stakeholders including teachers, staff, board members, and parents. She presented findings and worked with the Board through a decision-making process to determine the future of the school.
Downtown Seattle Association
Ms Walker was engaged by the President of the Association to determine and communicate the strategic direction to staff. She started by working with the President and Vice President to build a strategic planning process that worked first for the two of them. Then she expanded the process to bring in the rest of the leadership. At the same time, she brought all staff together in a 1 day retreat to clear organizational issues in anticipation of moving on to the strategic discussions.
